Kefir is a refreshing acidic drink that results from the fermentation of the water using Sugar and fruit. The fermentation process provides a delicious drink (juice). Kefir contains beneficial yeasts and good bacteria.
These powdered starter cultures are extracted straight from living kefir grains which means they contain the same properties as live grains but are much easier to store and keep for longer.
We recommend starting a new culture every 15-20 days to get the maximum health benefit from these cultures.
